I don't have the time to grind and struggle with games. I'm more than happy to lower difficulty to aid progression. I regularly go back to 16/32 bit generations and in most cases I'm better at games now than when I was younger. Reflexes are slower, but knowledge of game design is greater.
Yes... I took time off from gaming for a while because of life circumstances, and came back in my mid-30s. I still have dexterity but I often forget which button does what and press the wrong thing, which is not something I would have struggled with before.
Single player, no. Fast twitch multiplayer, yes.
Also increasingly finding it difficult to find games that interest me and are worthy of my limited time.
Not harder, I just don’t have as much time. Easy/Story mode is what I set games to now. I just don’t have the time to learn mechanics and watch YouTube tutorials about what stats I need to max out
I find that more and more games trigger my motion sickness as I age. But from a skill perspective I am much better at videogames today than I've been at any other point in my life. Mostly due to being more patient and having a better understanding of how game mechanics work.
I find it hard to play certain game genres such as online shooters, fighting, racing or difficult games. Also can't play time consuming games such as RTS and city builders. I tend to enjoy more relaxing games such as RPG/adventure games and maybe single player FPS for something more exciting.

I miss the old days of reading the instructions that came with it before playing.
