Abbott's appointment to Fox board screams 'Lachlan' Rupert may have been informed and given a resigned nod but I can't see it as a move that Rupert would ever initiate. He has a canny business sense that sometimes eludes Lachlan. Abbott brings little business nous and very poor judgement skills.
