I thought it was blocked in the senate - trying to use it as a bargaining tool, similiar to the greens who nearly blocked additional money for some housing.
I feel so cross sometimes- please agitate and put up amendments for change, but don't block legislation. It can be amended.

The misinformation/disinformation bill was pulled for lack of support but that was not about political advertising. It required internet platforms to self-regulate and was considered useless. SA has truth in political advertising laws. But Federally I don't think Labor introduced any such changes.

We shouldn't sit back, but most of us do.
Many people either do not care, are happy with the way things are heading, are easily manipulated, or are somehow ignorant of the fact that people should be better... people. We blame politicians for being politicians, but we vote them in.
