Congratulations! Today years old hearing about this book (was in a writing cave finishing final edits on HUMANS: A MONSTROUS HISTORY, forthcoming Feb 2, 2025). Am a historian of cartography, science, art, and empire (as well as monsters) - looking forward to reading about the 47 borders!

In the end I found a local independent bookshop to order it from, but in their words: “… it looks like our supplier is out at the moment so it may take a bit longer than our usual two week wait.”

So not sure if that’s just a local problem in Quebec or if it’s Canada wide. I could enquire more?
