I played the demo - loved the 2D animations, the environment art, the characters, how well it ran on my PC...

...how I only wish I enjoyed the gameplay 😞

I've never been one for souls-y combat, and I didn't feel grabbed by the overall game loop at all. I think a lot of people will like it tho!

I played it a decent bit yesterday on game pass. It’s pretty good, I like the story and characters. The combat is a little bit clunky and takes some time to get used to, but the SotC vibes from fighting a bigger boss were pretty nice.
