And the fact that your travel will make climate change worst is a plus. Are you now openely admitting that the goal is to make life on earth impossible for your children ?
You can't stop all travel. 300m Americans who drive gas-guzzling trucks to go anywhere is a bigger problem. Or the amount of 'stuff' we produce and ship around the planet. Or cruise ships.
Absolutely, the best time to visit. Managing around the βacqua altaβ adds to the thrill. Easy to get around and find spaces in restaurants & hotels. A huge advantage of living in Budapest is that itβs so easy to drive down for a long weekend to much of NE Italy.
I know this "36 hours in ___" is a recurring NYT article but, if you traveling from anywhere further than 1-2 hrs from Venice, make the effort to spend at least several days.
My husband & I just visited for 4 days in Oct after spending some time with family in Ireland & that was too short even.
