Of all the people mourning the death of Jimmy Carter at age 100 this week, few could say that he changed the course of their lives more directly and consequentially than the Americans taken captive by Iranian militants at the U.S. Embassy in Tehran in November 1979.

A REAL memorial to this dead Sailor USNA '46/ 39th Prez would be to REMOVE our troops from Syria, Iraq, Kuwait, Djibouti... REMOVE our ships from the Gulf & Red Sea, close the USN HQ in Bahrain, close the USAF HQ in Qatar, cut-off Egypt, Israel, Jordan & sail away from Italy & Spain... forever.
