Residents of Altadena, California, who lost property in the Eaton fire filed lawsuits against Southern California Edison on Monday, saying that the utility’s electrical equipment had sparked the blaze.

I think at this point we need to start making a list of the most competent and ethical journalists so, push comes to shove, we can follow their personal channels.
There was no money under the trump administration for infrastructure upgrades. Biden gave billions in infrastructure funding but Americans screwed themselves by voting Cheeto Mussolini in again.
We haven’t had power for over a week and you can’t get any solid info out of them. They keep lying about why it’s off and when it’s coming back on. Was so much of their old infrastructure a dangerous hazard? Why are they just now replacing wood towers w fiberglass ones in the mountains that burned?
This cycle of lawsuits is a disaster. Electric utilities get sued, which pushes up the price of electricity, which prevents people switching from gas to heat pumps, which keeps GHG emissions high and leads to more fires. CA government needs to step in and stop this.
