There are some lower density exurban areas - Sussex, Salem and Cumberland counties - and the Monmouth, Ocean, Atlantic and Cape May county shore areas - but yes, most counties are suburbs of NYC or Philly.
I'm sorry but I think giving this data out by the block is a little dangerous considering the current political environment. The wrong ppl are gonna save that for when a certain someone kinda sorta indirectly suggests his people take some unsavory actions against the people that didn't vote for him
Interesting. I was curious how my California neighbors voted. Very rural with about 200 votes cast. 5% more for Trump. I actually feel pretty good about that.
indirectly they do, gerrymandering will create a state legislature that imposes voting restrictions on POC and young voters, as well as voter intimidation.
The voting districts are based on maps drawn up and have everything to do with every election. They determine the boundaries for the districts which determine which district you vote in. These gerrymandered NC map boundaries are manipulated to favor a majority GOP voters in critical districts.
I cant fathom how anybody with half a brain could have voted for a serial adulterer, sexual abuser, convicted felon and a traitor. Explain that to me please.
Layer that map by educational level, income level, social media use and quality of life.
Better diagnosis, accurate prognosis.
That would be interesting and actionable.
If you know the districts, you can pretty much see the Latino Asian districts swung towards Trump. older whites, rich communities swung towards Harris.
Trump almost won NJ because Latinos and Asians swung hard to him. White voters remained the same. This is why Harris lost popular vote. Dems never win white votes but this time they did the worse among POC
Yeah, it was men who voted heavily against their own best interests for that one reason, that has absolutely zero impact on their lives. They effed themselves over and will likely have to deal with the real consequences for the remainder of their lives. Monumental stupidity, is my best analysis.
My town moved from 80% Biden / 20% Trump to 75% Harris / 25% Trump. Sad for the move, but at least the vast majority around me are still sane, good, decent people.

We are so gerrymandered!

My county in NJ is 130 square miles and has 850K people.
Wyoming has 700 times the area, and only 2/3 the population of my county.
I voted for Trump three times now, and I can't imagine avoiding liberal areas.
