Shareholders and ceos are happy. This means shit to average worker who suffers paycuts in order to maintain profits. This is nothing but pulse on how quickly middle and working class are sucked out dry.
I swear the stock market is just ridiculous! With looming tariffs as well as the bird flu about to hit us like a ton of bricks….. am I missing something????
Record high profits = wage theft, insider trading, and market manipulation, and stock buybacks. People can't afford rent, or food, or utilities while billionaires have bought and sold our country to enrich themselves further. Easing concerns about inflation? You are complicit in their hegemony.
It’s sad that the S&P is the measure of a successful country when really it should be measured by the amount of people that are taken care of. Late stage capitalism sucks!
Ah yes, the rich get richer while everyone else starves. Surely this will end well. Wait until folks see everything get even more expensive. Torch’s and pitchforks are on the way as sure as the sun rises and sets.
Billionaires: Let's do inflation.
We'll align with Trump, funding ads to convince the dummies to vote for him, then when we know the fat tax breaks are coming, we'll dip prices a bit and our share prices will rise.
Fuck 'em.
Stocks are up because boards of directors and heavy investors anticipate large tax cuts in capital gains. They couldn’t care less about inflation.
As Jamie Dimon of Chase just said - “get over it.” That tells you everything about what the investor class feels.
They are deporting farm workers. There will be food inflation. They are deporting construction workers. These ones were raided while working in a building. Housing inflation.
Venezuelans get all free, they won't do these jobs.

Or doesn’t reflect reality at all.
