Nearly three months after 43 monkeys escaped from a research facility in a heavily wooded area in South Carolina, the final four missing monkeys have been captured, ending a story fit for a Disney movie or a science fiction drama.

I'm imaging a re-make of "The Great Escape" with monkeys. It would have a monkey riding a motorcycle over a fence like Steve McQueen, another flying an airplane like James Garner, monkeys digging tunnels like Charles Bronson, monkeys forging documents, monkey tailors, monkeys in the cooler....
Hundreds of thousands of years from now, after humans have driven themselves to extinction, their ancestors will be deciphering our language and deducing history through archaeological evidence only to discover that Homo sapiens once kept them in cages and subjected them to science experiments.
Instead of complaining on social media, write to your local and state representatives to let them know you don’t agree with your tax money being spent on animal experimentation. And support animal sanctuaries.
False. Politicians (in the US) work for their corporate sponsors, not the people. There maaaaay be a few good ones left but every one of them violated the constitution thereby negating any integrity or respect the people would have.
A story ending fit for a Disney movie, if Disney movies had sad endings where the the tortured , oppressed animals are captured and returned to the place of their oppression.
I recall how the demand of monkeys for research has gone from Africa to Asia. Creating an underground market out of control. Anyone recall Ebola Reston when Monkeys escaped into the warehouse rafters. Ft Detrick came to the rescue and experience lost of life.

I think the see no, hear no and speak no evil potions are still open.
On issues like this, they do. There's no party line position. These groups lobby across the board.
