This guy's been holding onto hope longer than most hold onto their gym memberships. At this point, he should just declare the landfill a 'crypto mining site' and start charging admission.
Dude has 70m pounds to throw at this misadventure. He's already got it made. Invest that for 13 years and it would probably be worth around as much as the lost drive. How much more does this idiot need???
Nah itβs a good feature piece. One manβs insanity driven by greed. Classic. Not all stories are hard news, politics, etcβ¦ News is many things. This is good comedy relief.
IDK if that's a fair assessment. He's a regular dude - an IT guy who mistakenly threw away a fortune that is rightfully his. He's not trying to take anything from anyone else, just reclaim his own stuff.
