The main issue in recent years was the strong regulations on making debts, on which conservatives insisted. After neglecting the infrastructure for decades, relying on cheap Russian gas during the Merkel time, governmental investments were desperately needed to kickstart the economy.
They didn’t do it. Germany’s economic wonder was based on world trade (export), cheap gas, and cheap labor. This became an issue as trade became more unreliable (China, COVID, USA), National markets were suffering from low wages and little consumer possibilities, and the Russian attack on Ukraine.
Maybe now when most of europeans will avoid american products, German economy will rise again 🤷🏽 A healthy german economy is essential for all of europe 🇩🇪✌️
For God’s sake—Germany, which is smaller than Texas, is still the world’s third-largest economy. You can downplay it all you want, but it remains the third-largest economy.

Is this just to make sure the Nazis get more votes?
As is said... you're scum
