It can certainly be. And it would be better were solutions not wholly dependent on the degree to which a few officials can weather an interval of bad media and personal embarrassment.
Amazing. The airport says they have "no suggestion there is any foul play" but it seems that folks here, and on every page that is sharing this story, is 100 percent sure it was sabotage, probably the Russians, and war is on the horizon.

Yeah, this seems like an accident because oil is used to cool electrical infrastructure. A leak that shouldn't be possible. It's not the first time a substation like this catches fire.
The point is that leaping to conclusions, without ANY evidence, is always the wrong move. Waiting until information is available is the right move. Not much more to it than that.
For the time being, "Russian sabotage" should always be in the back of anyone's mind as a definite option when something like this happens in UK/Europe.
The word has almost lost its meaning, but I think that Trump's instruction to dial back counter-cyber against Russia is treasonous. Not only does the Russian government attack us, but it is friendly to Russian cyber criminals attacking the entire world (including us). But whatever....
Putin. Here in Germany, we also have to contend with Russian sabotage. In addition, unarmed drones are flying over important industrial facilities and decommissioned nuclear power plants. But your president is such a fantastic dealmaker, that's bound to stop soon.
