The first thing they should do is hire a good financial advisor who tells them Spotify has no impact on staying rich. Instead invest, don’t make huge outrageous purchases, and have a plan for a career post-sports.

Not a baseball player, but being frugal works for me. I put 2 kids through private school and college and I retired early because I was frugal and invested wisely.
