a lil of both but mostly column B. the way EOs work means nothing was binding at all. at the least it was a test to see who is up for hating anyone not a straight cis WASP. and there was a line out the door and around the block to jump at the occasion

I’m maintaining cautious optimism that the problem is just that people who have always been able to solve all their problems with a strongly-worded e-mail just don’t have a plan B but like at a certain point it doesn’t matter that much

Yeah I mean I think those are two different tactics tbh. Like, just ignoring it and letting the chips fall as they may is something people with courage do. A strongly-worded e-mail, when it comes from people who already have power, is just the “but mooooom” before they slink off to their room
