True. But I’m referring to news agencies in random countries, scraping the tabloid nonsense and posting it on their own sites. There’s possibly a longer discussion to be had about the 24hr news cycle and what pressures it’s placed on news agencies to ‘produce content’ every time you refresh the page
Look at my block list - I’ve had to block credible news sites for spreading bs. And to be clear, I think most people can see through it. But I always think abt Wallis Simpson and what we think we know abt her and where that ‘knowledge’ came from. What will remain of this smear campaign?
I just went through your block lists. All the sites listed are either aggregate sites (Nicki Swift), gossip blogs with zero credibility (Perez), or tabloids (NYP).
You're never going to change the minds of low-information users of those sites. But CREDIBLE news outlets don't take them seriously.
The maj are gossip sites but back to my point re global msm spread of the smears, why wld the NZ Herald or Manila Times be covering the tabloid bs? I agree we can’t and shldnt bother with the low info folks. Doesn’t mean that we shld overlook the impact of the MSM involvement on apparently smart ppl

If they were as unpopular as Harry's brother wishes they were, they wouldn't have ANY brand deals/business.
