Yes one of interloper hatched here in 2019, you can tell by the leg ring. The other interloper is unringed.

… he and mama are in the water gardens. I think they have lost their territory although Swan Support have advised me that just because he was beaten once, he could be victorious in another battle. 😔🦢❤️

Papa Swan has had a hard time in the last year. If he spends time in the water garden, he may get himself together again and return to you. I have a feeling your time with Mama & Papa Swan is not over. Very grateful you were able to get him out because the interloper just wants him off the stretch.

Mama and papa swan actually moved their nest site down river two years ago after the opposite bank was cleared so I think their days of garden nesting were over anyway.
