I think it’s clear that Trump’s plan is to give Ukraine to Putin and then strip Ukraine of rare earth metals. No doubt he’s cut a deal with Putin.

The US policy is likely to make a deal that is so bad that Ukraine turns it down, and then Trump can withdraw US support while he normalizes with Russia & Putin, his new buddies.

He is merely following his irrational, criminal, pathological impulses fueled by feelings of jealousy, insecurity, disregard and revenge
