I've seen some people following the Switch 2 system design leaks, a little dissapointed it appears to be "Switch, but better" rather than a more "Weird Nintendo" creative departure.
And I get that, we all love oddball Nintendo doing unexpected stuff.
But, I think playing it safe here makes sense.

I am trying to engage with reasons Nintendo may be risk averse this generation, but I personally agree with you.
I think, in that context, a safe follow up to a sucessful device makes sense.
I could also be wrong about that.
That "C" button on the right Joy-Con? I might be one of the "It's a wireless gameplay casting to the TV / Dock to Recreate a Wii U Experience button" truthers :P
