We're high and dry right now and need rain desperately. January was freezing (for us), February has felt like April and all the yellow brittlebush flowers were blooming today when I drove to Phoenix (weeks and weeks early.) Scary.

Wow! I just checked the NOAA national map & basically it's just all extreme insanity over a large percentage of the country. Like, when do we rename once in a century or lifetime events as our new normal? What would actually be extreme now?? Monsoon in Delaware or something, I'm guessing

So much to remember-FMLA forms (my part, MD part), 2 showers w/special soap & fresh towels, clean bed linens, liquid diet then moosh diet, cat sitter, getting to hospital (no ride share services here), ride home, post op, etc

If you have trouble with the rides, let me know. I have the same issue with some of those tests -- can't do them because they require a ride home and someone to stay with you just in case.

Likewise, incidentally. Let me know if you need anything. I have one more health issue I have to work up, but I've been doing just fine w/it for a long time. Once this is done I can take deep breaths again & all the pressure/pain in my abdomen should be gone. Driving your way won't be an issue

I appreciate that, thank you. The person I live with refuses to drive so I am the exclusive driver around here, though that doesn't stop him from criticizing every damn thing while in the car. I hope that other issue isn't too much to handle along with the upcoming procedures!

Nah, neuro workup as I have spreading numbness in my lower legs & pain. It's nothing as bad as the current stuff.

Oh yeah, no worries. Just let me know and I can give you a ride for tests. I definitely get it!!

Made me smile & also chuckle as it'll be moosh/liquid for two weeks. I'm stocking up on good stuff, though. And happily have been back to solid foods last night & today. Soft/liquid diet was just the ticket to settle things down, I think. Thank you for the well wishes!
