The CDC estimates that 1 in 36 children are identified as having autism spectrum disorder. It's nearly 4x more common in boys. Basically 1 in 100 for girls, 4 in 100 for boys. Does this disparity indicate an actual biological difference or a cultural (identification bias) difference?
