At CPAC, Vance said that the US will now "only be friends with the nations that share the President's values." What values? All I see is a kind of malignant anti-virtue.
Yesterday, Trump said that the EU was formed "in order to screw the United States, that's the purpose of it." But in point of fact, the EU is the successor organization to the European Coal & Steel Community,
an organization the Truman administration strong-armed Europe into forming. But I suppose it's too much to ask that the President have the foggiest notion of history.
