We live in a rural area and half the posts are ppl picking up LGDs and then realizing they aren’t lost 😂 people have come up with some funny collar tags so good samaritans don’t pick them up. I will say though, Nextdoor is great for chicken people

My next door neighbors are from Brazil and speak very little English. Nice people but they leave their cat out far too much in this weather. Still under a year old and a tiny thing. I worry because other neighbors have a Husky that’s gotten out and killed another neighbor’s cat before.

Uggh. Ya that shit would bother me. Had a neighbor once across way that his dog would sit out back (I could see from my garage while chatting w/ wife smoking in garage) & just howl wanting in. He’d fall asleep & leave out in rain. 1 time said fuck it & went & knocked on door as it was raining hard

Some people have irresponsible or shitty roommates. I dealt with that for a little bit. I always had anxiety when I left the house and it got to a point where I wouldn’t go out of town unless I brought them with me.

Mostly cats or dogs? I feel like dogs are easier to keep inside as long as they’re not runners. Since I stopped l living with my shitty cat hating roommates I haven’t had an issue except when Forbin figured out how to unlock and open a window that was locked with a hook. Such a little shit.

I’m very lucky that any times my cats got out they never really left the yard or area since I was in a pretty busy area during that. One good thing about being in a condo now is there really isn’t a way for them to escape here.
