Yeah I was very much in the pro-Geno camp. But, if it's true that they were that far apart on a new contract it's very possible that we end up getting Darnold for the same price or less than we would have had to pay Geno while also picking up an extra third round pick.

I would also add that if it plays out that way, Darnold is only 27 and has more potential future upside than Geno at this point.

I do love Geno and wish him the best. I think that article is spot on. I am smitten with Dart in the draft. He's athletic and can make all the nfl throws. His not afraid to take deep shots.

Same. I can't blame Geno for wanting to be paid, and I can't blame the Seahawks for not wanting to pay him that much.

Can't say I'm super excited about Sam "Darn" Darnold, but he's probably better at this point than Sam Howell, or Aaron Rodgers, or Kirk Cousins.
