Spent time at the National Portrait Gallery this weekend and stumbled upon an exhibit on James Baldwin and voices of Queer Resistance. Part of that exhibit included THE issue of The Ladder. The exhibit specifically highlights a piece written by Baldwin’s friend and contemporary Lorraine Newman.
