I'm a huge fan of flutter_hooks, but really liked the discussion that was had in the comments here.

I'm very happy that a lot of #flutterDev have rejected #react 's poisons, especially hooks. React has already unnecessarily overcomplicated its (significantly sized) piece of the #webDev pie. Keep Flutter simple*. Advocates of #webStandards and #webComponents understand.
