Most people in the world do not yet have accessible and affordable alternatives to fossil fuels and big oil has lied and denied for decades to keep it that way
Turn the heating down, stick on another jumper, get a heat pump, fly less or not at all, get an EV or use public transport or cycle etc etc.

People don't need to fly. People can use public transport in preference to driving. People can turn the heating down.
It's easy, and in many ways, quite lazy to keep on using fossil fuels personally, but it's also very easy to reduce your consumption.
I'm talking about the global population - it is global warming after all!
