I‘m glad to hear that! It’s so easy to believe the bad rep they get though, it’s so casually woven into everything, even our very language! One’s a pigeon and the other a dove, when in reality they’re the same species even.

Iris isn’t super thrilled about me getting too close either most of the time. Sometimes he’s okay with sitting on my hand at least tho.
The secret to taking pictures like this… is having a good camera with decent zoom. Most of the pretty pics were taken with my Nikon rather than my phone.
