This was a very insightful episode! I think the bracket / GC system landed in a very good starting place. I’m excited to see how it changes and what gets unbanned - I’d agree Force of Will can come off GC and Coalition Victory off ban. Gifts Ungiven, with the new tutor restrictions, also looks fine.

Just got done watching the video. What a great and eloquent discussion on all sides. I'm still struggling to figure out if my deck is a 3 or a 4 and I think the only way is going to be to jam some games with people and I think approaching 3 pods and 4 pods with the rule 0 convo will be great. Thx!

I don't think counterspells (however cheap or surprising) have a place on the Game Changers list. It is just part of the blue play experience. Fierce Guardianship is no more offensive than Deadly Rollick at doing the job of its color's primary interaction style.

You asked a very god question here, "what would be considered a fail state?", and I have an example:
If "my deck is a 7” simply becomes a "my deck is a high 3", the brackets are not adding much meaning to conversations. As in "my deck only has 3 Game Changers, but unlimited tutors, so a high 3”.
