A thread on 2024.
I wasn't prepared for this year's many unravellings, including the early death of our dog at a time our family needed her most. By holding it all together I feel I've become...emotionless, taut. It's hard to open myself to write when I fear the emotions that will escape.

I’m grateful for recognition this year for my work published last year. The Wigleaf Top 50 Longlist. A story in Mondettes. My writing tip published in Vancouver Flash Fiction. A micro in Tommy Dean's Favorite Flashes Lately.
I think I was reading your words about setting during that trip.
I hope this next year has more stars than dark spaces for you. 🖤✨
