No. Explore the problem to spot opportunities. Solutions brought in too early are all too often causing problems. Some time needs to be spent in the problem space to make sure we understand it before we enter the solution space.
The real solution is for you to stop hiding behind problems and face the truth. Start questioning your own nonsense you hold dear. My role isn’t to fix you, but to make you see how broken your thinking truly is.
Honestly, good advice. You don't have to come up with THE solution, but it shows you didn't just bring a problem to someone else expecting they'll solve it. You actually took the time to think about ways to solve it, and are now seeking their input.

Also, probably most applicable in work. Lots of people in relationships just want to talk not have you suggest solutions.
I'd be happier if nitpickers came with some idea about how common or severe the problem they're identifying is though.
Can't tell you how many times I've had nitpickers go nuts over problems that are rare and low-impact.
