To review: Putin's intelligence service hacked the DNC email system in '16 to help Trump. In '16, Putin offered Trump a Moscow building development deal. Trump’s '16 campaign chair, Paul Manafort, was in business with a Russian intelligence officer. Those are just the things in the Mueller report.

Trump is certainly acting in the last month, as in his first term, like someone who has some sort of weird special connection to Russia. There is no political upside or significant constituency in the U.S. for subservience to Russia on this level. Many will tolerate it perhaps, but none demand it.

Hence, all the leverage dangled like so many Swords of Damocles above the heads of elected GOP representatives that make them supplicant ankle lickers of Putin.
There's no way that person sneaked in. Trump has been holding inside rallies because someone tried to off him. If so, the Secret Service once again failed him.

But let’s also stipulate that Muller, like Merrick Garland, failed to appreciate the gravity of the situation and was not the man for the moment.
If Trump was in as deep, and as publically, with the Saudis, I doubt thered be as much scrutiny
But, theyre hostile in a way that served American interests. So, allies
Now, what defines American interests has shifted. And so, new allies.
Not saying its good, but the USA has always been a fuck. Now its a fuck AND fucked
Barr was going in between keeping everything legal & appeasing Trump
Also there was that declaration that a sitting president couldn't be indicted
Mueller looked like he had Parkinson's & wanted to retire so he was out of there. It just stopped everything
If Garland had investigated & prosecuted felon Donald Trump in early 2021 for his 1/6/2021 insurrection, Trump would NOT be in White House destroying our country (& much more) right now.
