They killed people. They didn’t ask if there would be casualties: civillian, American, and they sure didn’t care about Yemeni casualties. They did ask if it would affect domestic gas prices.
They don’t even pretend to care about killing. I’m glad they’re incompetent.
Same for doomerism and nihilism. We're smarter than these fuckers, and Americans with courage and smarts have always been able to do amazing things together.
Y have to remember the working together part. One human alone can't do much, but a lot of humans together working together can do great things. These people are anti-civilization, we are pro-civilization & all the knowledge that comes with it. We can take 'em if we work together & have courage.
Except I am outnumbered by fascists. 2/3 of my state are nazis. They have spent decades working together to destroy our country and we have little to no ability to fight back
Please watch and rewatch this movie, in the U.S. Archives from the @usarmy.bsky.social #DontBeASucker a reminder of how the Nazis conned their country into becoming the cause of mass murder and all the other horrors that Nazis unleash. The lessons are true for the USA🇺🇸 , in 2025 https://youtu.be/vGAqYNFQdZ4
Take care how you “work for democracy”. With all three branches of government controlled by authoritarian psychopaths who are ignoring the courts and with gov workers and military replaced with loyalists, there are far better avenues of resistance than wasting time in that fully compromised system.
I'm a realist. I acknowledge that 99.9% of politicians are not there for any patriotic or altruistic reasons. Be that as it may that realization only serves to piss me off and energize me to change it. It doesn't paralyze my efforts . It just enrages me.
Fuck democracy. Democracy never got us shit except a fresh gang of oppressors and grifters. Democracy fools the People into believing they have a choice & can change things. Only direct action & revolution get the goods.

As judiciary does it part, so are Americans, in PA’s election, yesterday, rallies by Sanders and AOC, town halls, legal filings, journalists sharing truth, protests, boycotts, letters/calls to Reps.

I can assure you, my cynicism in no way hinders my absolute fury, nor does it in any way work on behalf of any dictator, ever. I can be cynical and also refuse to take crap. My cynicism is a bullshit detector, thank you very much.
100%. Political apathy is what will kill the US. Perhaps just as important, is how we need to channel our frustration into real world actions. Take to the streets, attend town halls, activate your community!
It’s tempting to think you are outsmarting the dictator by saying nothing makes a difference and you’Il never let yourself have high expectations again. I promise you are not.
I’m trying to reframe my cynicism towards something more useful, which is preparation. I can be appalled but not caught unaware. I think this is hard for everyone, because to prepare for some of these events still seems paranoid to many.
The only people who would be reasonably saying that nothing makes a difference right now, are those who didn't vote and feel guilty about it, and want to give themselves an excuse so as to make it not their fault for the current shitshow.
Going around telling everyone, “nothing can change; it won’t make a difference; we can’t do anything” is worse than obeying in advance. It’s obeying in advance and discouraging others into doing the same.
Yeah, you don’t sound cool or smart when you constantly insist that there will never be any consequences for any of this and that of course he’s just gonna get away with it all. You just sound like a dick.
It is fair to believe that is the most likely outcome, based on recent history and the behavior of the opposition party. It's bad to hope for that outcome.
This is important. Cynicism is a feeling of skeptic separation. It causes us to disengage and isolate. Authoritarianism thrives on people “checking out or removing themselves.”
