I was running in the forest on an island off of Vancouver 30 years ago. Something told me to look left, and this is what I saw. About 8 feet away, staring right at me. I stopped in my tracks. The forest was silent and totally still. It was a magical moment that I will never forget. ❤️🙏🏽🦉

My wife and I were at The Raptor Trust here in Jersey. Passed by an owl. Clearly upset. Docent said, "Owl is upset, thinks you are also owls, upset that you are not at a high enough perch and wants you to go up to his level! So completely adorable!
