What are the best examples of mainstream fact-checkers erroneously siding with Republicans, or giving Republicans more benefit of the doubt than Democrats?

WaPo column "Here's the truth" promotes intellectual anarchy: there *IS* such a thing as facts, and it is partly to master them that rightly-termed experts engage in so many years of study/being evaluated!
"Their audience ... will decide what to believe" - no! Vox populi is NOT the way to the Truth!
"The fact that merely letting people talk to each other..." - an egregious "straw man" argument, no one was ever preventing people from talking to each other.
Countering the infamous Springfield pets lie with "partisan pretense" re: Biden is, for its part, an equally invalid "What about?" maneuver.
Here's an uncontestable fact: SOMEONE - not necessarily the author herself - should have done a better job editing this piece before clicking on "Publish"!

I would like to respond, but first I need to know, who do you consider "mainstream fact-checkers"? While you are answering that, could you add the names of some reputable fact-checkers who are not "mainstream"? I would love to know who I can turn to for fact-checking endorsed by, say, YOU.

Fact checking would be better if it weren't for the true false labeling. Explaining the issue is usually better.
