Give it time. Till then I'm LOVING the non toxic atmosphere and I'm going to enjoy it as long as it lasts. So far it's been universally intelligent, interesting and nice.
The feeds are so well done and much better than hashtags ever were. Its nice to be able to take a break from everything and just see a specific topic without having to switch platforms altogether
I think it is a start. I remember how helpful Twitter was 4-5 years back when I got helpful information (even live) but as you mentioned it turned out to be a place with absolutely toxic content. But there is always a risk this place could turn into that too unless the majority decides t’ keep‘t sane
I thought it was just me lol. That was half my feed this morning. And since no one is really using hashtags, I keep seeing things I don't care about at all but no good way to filter ("show less of this" doesn't seem to be doing anything)
I'm also trying to reduce the flow of dog pictures. The Muting option isn't 100% effective in that someone I've muted still shows up in my feed. @bsky.app
I'm digging the lack of trolls and that my feed seems to be all real folks and accounts I've followed, but I need to figure out how to refine it a bit more. Getting fed way too many posts of people patting themselves on the back for being writers. 😆
One of the things that annoyed me on Twitter is that I, a Dane with European interests, got force-fed American culture-wars in their "for you"-feed. What part of following footballers, Ukraine-experts and my mostly Danish friends, made them think that Ben Shapiro is right up my alley?
And I honestly don't have much against what bits of Ben Shapiro I've seen, it was just unfathomable that he had the top-tweet in my "For You"-feed so often.
I love it! Politics, dinner photo, landscape photo, random thought, politics, art, book discussion, dog photo, politics, cat photo, random dad joke, some neighbor issue being discussed, etc. On the other site, it was so much politics, anti-LGBTQ stuff, mocking scientists and that was about it!

That's obvious, Memeboy. LMAO!
And no, I don’t follow him.
