In college I used to build Linux boxes out of old parts from Boeing HQ. Haven't built anything in 25 years, but since all indications are the 11yo has the gamer gene, I picked up this old Athlon today from some sketchy dude in his mom's garage. We'll see if it works when the mobo comes next week...
