The main benefit of the transfer window is it meant less transfer gossip in the other months of the year.

Fully agree, but some of the 'rumours' are SO clearly made up. I don't understand why people keep reposting?
Some of our fans think that this is the reality, and we got that kind of money (or interest) for players who don't fit into the Amorim way of football. I'm truly flabbergasted
