This is shocking and alarming. He hasn’t been charged with a crime, yet the Trump administration arrested him for exercising his First Amendment right to protest. This is a direct attack on our freedoms—we are now under an authoritarian fascist government!

The Trump administration illegally arrested and detained Mahmoud Khalil, a lawful permanent resident and recent graduate of Columbia University, in direct retaliation for his advocacy. The government must immediately release him from custody.
