Measles remains infectious 2 hours on surfaces and in air. An infected person is contagious 4 days BEFORE the rash appears. Infection incubates an average of 12 days. 1 infectious person on average infects 12 - 18 people. The flu=.9 to 2.1, RSV = 3, covid=1.4 to 2.4, noro virus (schools)=1.5 to 4
