Because the right wing STILL promotes the idea of 'trickle-down economics', which is the biggest scam in modern history.

Furthermore, The United States promotes this by threatening to cut aid if Countries don't deregulate.

The American government forces Countries to deregulate, and those Countries corruptly allow companies to profit off cheap labor.

THEN, people get upset, and do things like start Cartels because they can't make money legally.

We as Americans point the finger at Countries in Latin America and yell at them because their citizens migrate to the US , when OUR GOVERNMENT for YEARS forced policies that benefited the US, the rich in those Countries, and all the politicians who gave into the US.

How do we think the Cartels in Mexico became so powerful and ruthless; most Cartel members are ex Mexican military who were trained well by the United States to combat communism, but not paid properly.

My point of this thread is: The United States exports bad policies, which then blows back on us.
