Also worth adding, they had 90% support for the Afghanistan invasion after 9/11. And with competent leadership (comparatively) it took them 20 years to attempt to conquer a country 1/20th the size of Canada. They, at best, would have a VERY divided military, with Hegseth at the helm.

I'll also add that NATO's article 5 has only been enacted once, by the USA, after 9/11. The allies responded.
Trump has already turned his back on that alliance, and I believe our allies would answer Canada's call should we invoke it.
