It’s not only about the brands (though badically all American brands) but we really check every single product that we pick at the supermarket. If origin or “made in” is USA, we don’t pick. Same for on line products.

I have bought a lot of Mexican produce in the last month. I never used to check the origin - just the quality. Believe me, I now check everything! And if a supermarket doesn't provide the origin, I assume it's American and leave it on the stand.

I have certainly been buying Mexico produce over USA produce. I also found HERDEZ salsa from Mexico to be much better then American brands. It is made with tomatoes not paste.
