I liked the classic games (GB, GBA) and have been wanting to connect with a (friendly!) group to get back into things & catch up to how it is in modern times. Honestly, keeping it a buck, the last time I was really active was with Go a few years ago.
Pokemon Pocket is a very causal intro into TCG. It has a pack opening/collection side of things as well. PokeMMO might be your speed as well, I have a little Daliban crew on there but we haven’t been active lately.
It’s a really great game tbh. They combined multiple regions together and you can start where ever. The player economy gives Pokemon a new way to play.
Fellow pokemon TCG enjoyed.TCG pocket has gotten me back into TCG live. They have done a great job with the new app and the free decks are pretty good and can actually compete with some of the meta decks surprisingly
I love how casual pocket is compared to Live. The time commitment too isn’t as bad. Live does have the benefit of having a wider variety of deck builds but overtime I see pocket getting there.
