BlueSky is actually proactive with blocking. For better or worse. I haven't blocked anyone but also I have people blocked. I asked others about this and found out that people are added to lists and then those lists are automatically blocked if they disagree with you too much

Take a second and think about it not from a rejection point of view. The only reason to be added to a block list is to stand for something, right or wrong. So the question is, the other people on the list, are they good people? You're sorted not rejected

Only problem with that is, when I first joined -out of ignorance I followed lists that later I found good people had been added to. They were ANTI not positive lists. Then I found I had accidentally through a list blocked a good friend of many yrs because thd person making that list didn’t like them

Ah! Yep. That's the problem.

A good lesson for us to forgive others though even if they joined the wrong people earlier.

But a coding problem. I can only suggest joining the opposite people so the algorithm corrects itself

Then I was blocked from being able to correct it for over a month & it stressed me so bad bc that’s my friend. So I don’t follow block lists automatically anymore without going through each persons profile. Too many BAD disrupters on here unfortunately. Also some of the lists I’m added to claim

That it’s not personal they’re just blocking me & others “to make my feed calm / simple/“ blah blah blah. Nope! You’re literally callin people out by name to encourage others to block someone also. Drawing attention to get ppl to block instead of using the mute & block buttons as intended.
