Agreed, I kept dropping other platforms because it felt like all I could do was focus on the numbers and try and format posts to optimize the likelihood of beeing seen

Even from the perspective of just an ordinary joe without a public facing job, it feels nice to know that at least most of the people who follow me arent bots. On Twitter that was a problem; I'm a nobody that just likes to comment and retweet, yet I'd get notifs on bot follows almost hourly.

Still working on a model again, BUT yeah i feel that, thinking only about numbers is kinda crazy, like yeah its cool to see funny number reach into the hundreds of thousands and easier to dream about a million, but its also good to just have fun!

I get this feeling! I put off making my X account for weeks because the pressure of wanting to grow made me feel like I had to have everything planned before I made any attempt. Then the day after I made it, X blew up. This little reset makes me feel like the field is a bit more leveled and casual.
