And let me be perfectly clear. If you are white and ever questioned why I was scared at the possibility of him in office again this is why. Recognize your privilege that; this has never affected you and that you could ask such ignorant questions. If your feelings are hurt I don’t care.

Lots of feelings tonight as I text my immigrant mother about the mass deportations that are gearing up. Grateful we got her citizenship the first time (will never get over that I have to say that). Absolutely gutted that the children are separated. Angry they treat people seeking asylum like dogs.
