lmao sorry this is so fucked up??? I was using they/them pronouns when I started at the NYT in 2021 and when I left in 2022.

I read something the other day and now I can't find it, but it was about having detected evidence of the automated attempt at removal of all pronouns.

Except the NYT changed the reference to this person from "a reporting fellow of the NYT" to adding grammatically unnecessary she/her pronouns, so it looks like they're adding them intentionally where they were not previously.
