I got Alan Wake 2 on PS5 earlier last month when it was super cheap. 😊
So that's why I started Control as I wanted to have played this one in advance.

I might have to play Alan Wake 1 first though as I never came close to finishing it on Xbox 360 back in the day...

@OutofPrintArchive I wouldn’t bother. 2 is more or less self contained and it fills in any story gaps. I personally don’t think that the first game has aged well.
